Idea Connections' roots go back to 1976, when Carey Corea founded ICE Communications -- one of the very first agencies dedicated to Sales Promotion. In 1986, Carey left ICE with a group of key team members, and founded a second promotional agency. After ten years of growth and innovation within the promotional marketplace, Carey merged this company with an international management-consulting firm -- taking on our present name, Idea Connections.

Throughout this history, the continuity of management and vision have been exceptional: Our President and Creative Director were both members of Carey's team 20 years ago!

Today, Idea Connections specializes in Promotional Marketing -- a discipline that strives to simultaneously build brands and increase sales for our clients. We do so by applying the time-proven principles of promotional marketing -- not only with traditional communications tools, but also to newer disciplines such as co-marketing and account-specific programs, Web-based marketing, and interactive, computer-based multimedia presentations.

In 1999, Idea Connections founded the National Sweepstakes Company. This full-service resource for planning, designing and administering sweeps, games, and contests now also offers a full line of dynamic online promotional services

In 2002, Idea Connections became the exclusive U.S. licensee for The Apollo Game Card System - allowing mass customization of promotions for specific accounts, regions or individual store locations.
